2025AWコレクションのはじまりは、フォトグラファーの Philippe Bialobosによる 『Messenger Style』を何気なく手に取ったことだった。
そこに収められていたのは、躍動感に溢れたジャンルレスで自由なバイク・メッセンジャーの装い。 日焼けや風雨によってエイジングが進行しリペアの繰り返されたバッグや衣服に、 自身の中枢を貫く精神性に通底するものを見出した。
また、ソリッドな肉体にチェーンやキーを巻き付けたスタイルの数々に内包された、 「素早く無駄なく伴を開ける」というオープンでストレートなマインドにも強く心を打たれた。
あるいは、車と車の間伱を縫ってNYの街を切り裂くように命がけで大胆に疾走するメッセンジャーたち。
置かれた状況を問わずブレーキのないピストバイクで突っ走る姿が、 前のめりに歩みを続けるブランドの現在地とオーバーラップした。

シーズンを重ねるごとに緩やかに変化を繰り返しながら練り上げてきた、ルードでボーイッシュなスタイル。 拙くも力強い筆致の手紙をまだ見ぬ世界の人々へと届けてくれることを願って。

The 2025 Autumn/Winter Collection came about from casually picking up a copy of Messengers Style by photographer Philippe Bialobos.
Captured within were the outfits of bike messengers, overflowing with dynamic energy, genre-less,and unbridled.
Their bags and clothing, which had been aged by the sun and weather and then repeatedly repaired, allowed me to discover the underlying spirit running through them at their core.
I was also struck deeply by the open, straightforward mindset embodied in the numerous styles of chains and keys wrapped around their solid physiques, conveying the message “unlock quickly and without waste.”
And, how the messengers fearlessly risked their lives riding at breakneck speed, tearing through the streets of New York City as they weaved between cars.
The way that they charged ahead on their track bikes without brakes no matter the situation overlapped with the current position of our brand, which continues to plunge forward.

This rude boy style has been refined through a series of gradual changes with each successive season. Here is hoping that our awkwardly yet powerfully written letters will be delivered to people around the world yet to see them.
